Punished Bulgaria for attacking its former allies, stripping most San Stefano gains, Dobruja to Romania, Macedonia split Greece Serbia, Salonika Greek. Bulgaria revisionism, both world wars alignments, flowed from it. The borders drawn are roughly today Bulgaria Greece Serbia lines, the most durable Balkan borders despite a century of wars. The Ottomans used the war to retake Edirne, confirmed in a separate treaty that autumn.
